2020 Porsche Panamera Model Overview at Porsche Orland Park

About the Porsche Panamera

Ever dreamed of a spacious sedan that’s roomy enough for four adults, yet also provides the spirited performance of a sports car? Your dream becomes reality behind the wheel of a new Porsche Panamera. Offering agile handling in a full-size sedan package, an electrifying Plug-In Hybrid variant, and an array of luxurious interior appointments – the Panamera delivers an unparalleled experience. For the 2020 model year, the Panamera remains the benchmark in the performance sedan segment. Car and Driver captured the essence of this 4-door sportscar when they called the Panamera “A Driver’s Car in a Segment that Prioritizes Passengers”. They’re certainly not the only experts who share this opinion.

What’s New for 2020

Drivers will be able to spot a handful of small revisions to the Porsche Panamera for the 2020 model year. Highlighting a decade of success, the 2020 Panamera can be optioned with an available 10 Year Edition package which includes exclusive badging inside and out, White Gold stitching on the seats, and unique 21-inch wheels painted in White Gold Metallic. Sapphire Blue Metallic has been discontinued as an exterior color choice but Papaya Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic have been introduced this year.

What the Critics Say

“The Porsche Panamera isn’t just a good car, it’s an outstanding one. While competition is tight in the super luxury car class, this Porsche’s exceptional performance leads the pack. From its base 330-horsepower V6 to its range-topping 680-horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain, there are no dull engine options for the Panamera.” — U.S. News & World Report

“Despite its length, the Panamera is wonderfully maneuverable, the steering is remarkably precise and the car corners like a champ, especially when the rear-wheel-steering setup is in the mix, along with Porsche’s torque-vectoring technology.” — Kelley Blue Book

Porsche Panamera Features

Porsche Panamera Engine

Potent Performance

Without question, the Porsche Panamera offers a wealth of engine options to suit the needs of any type of motoring enthusiast. Standard power for the Panamera comes in the form of a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that produces a balanced 330 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. Panamera S variants come equipped with a more powerful twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 which increases the horsepower total to 440. For the ultimate in exhilaration, Panamera Turbo models come standard with a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that cranks out an astounding 550 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque.

For an electrified driving experience, the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid comes equipped with an electric motor that produces an extra 136 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. This increases the muscle of the standard V6 engine or — in the case of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid — boosts the total to an impressive 680 horsepower.

Porsche Panamera Interior

Luxurious Cabin

The interior of the Panamera features a wealth of cutting-edge technology. Porsche Communication Management includes a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen display and serves as your central control for audio, navigation, and communication. Porsche Connect enhances connectivity inside the Panamera. It offers seamless access to your favorite smartphone apps and allows you to control navigation from your phone to the in-car display.

Passengers can enjoy a cinematic experience with the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment which includes twin 10-inch touchscreen displays and connects to Porsche Management Communication. When you drive an exhilarating sports car, you’ll not only want technology to match it, but also long-distance comfort as well. The heated and ventilated leather seats with an available massage function will deliver exactly that.

2020 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

Panamera Sport Turismo

An exciting extension of the Panamera model lineup, the Sport Turismo takes style and capability to new heights. Defined by its eye-catching design, enhanced performance, and superior day-to-day usability – the Panamera Sport Turismo is in a class of its own. Regarded for their ability to achieve the perfect balance between career, family, leisure, and driving pleasure — Porsche Panamera models never sacrifice on functionality. The standard 4+1 seating configuration in the Panamera Sport Turismo allows for expanded interior seating space. Cargo capacity is massive as well with nearly 50 cubic feet of storage space along with a low 24.8-inch loading level allows for easy access. A redesigned raised roofline, large rear window, LED headlights and taillights, and available twin exhaust tailpipes help it stand out from the conventional liftback sedan.
