2025 Macan vs. Macan T Comparison
The Macan is everything you could ever want a compact SUV built by a sports car brand to be. Powerful, with engaging driving dynamics and a comfortable interior, there’s a lot to like about the Macan. But Porsche wouldn’t be Porsche if they didn’t offer multiple different variants of its vehicles, and it’s not always easy to tell what makes one different from another. While power output is what usually differentiates one version from the another, the Macan T uses the same engine and transmission as the Macan, and that means that we’re going to have to go into a little more detail to explain the differences.

| Macan | VS | Macan T |
| 261 | Horsepower | 261 |
| 6.0 seconds | 0-60 Time | 5.8 seconds |
| 144 mph | Top Speed | 144 mph |
Both of these versions of the Macan come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 261 horsepower, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Both also have the same top speed, but there IS a difference in 0-60 times. This comes from the Sport Chrono Package, which is available as an option on the Macan, but is standard on the Macan T. Specifically, this is because the Sport Chrono Package comes with launch control. For more power, and a quicker 0-60 time, there is the Macan GTS, so the focus of the Macan T is more about agility. That’s why the Macan T comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which greatly improves the already impressive handling characteristics of the Macan.
Macan VS Macan T Appearance
To help distinguish it from the rest of the Macan lineup, and especially the Macan, the Macan T has a number of visual touches to let you know what you’re looking at. To start with, the Macan T comes with bigger 20-inch Macan S wheels in Dark Titanium. There are also sport tailpipes finished in a high gloss black. The side mirrors are V-shaped SportDesign in Agate Gray Metallic, which is also the color of the side blades, which also wear a Macan T badge. Open the door, and you’ll see sill guards in Black Brushed Aluminum. The upholstery is specific to the Macan T as well, although other options are available. And of course, the Porsche crests in the headrests are standard.
